This entertaining show includes fascinating cultural and geological history of the area. This dynamic show, presented with surround sound on a giant screen, makes you feel like an eyewitness to the creation of the beautiful rock formations in the Garden. ($5/adults, $3/children).
Enjoy state-of-the-art interactive exhibits including the world’s only Theophytalia kerri fossil that was discovered in Garden of the Gods Park in 1878. The Visitor Center has over 30 educational exhibits to engage guests of all ages. Delight in one of the most photographed views in Colorado while eating your lunch or dinner in our all glassed in cafe or from our terrace overlooking Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. NEW EDUCATIONAL EXHIBIT:
NEW DINOSAUR IDENTIFIED AT GARDEN OF THE GODS
On May 24, 2008 Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center announced the world's only known fossil of an entirely new dinosaur species, Theiophytalia kerri, found in Garden of the Gods Park. “How Did Those Red Rocks Get There?”
Millions of years in the making, this show is an exciting, entertaining, and educational 14 minute multimedia adventure. This new HD multi-media theater presentation includes fascinating cultural and geological history of this area. This dynamic show, presented with surround sound on a giant screen, makes you feel like an eyewitness to the creation of the beautiful rock formations in the Garden. The movie creates a “birds-eye-view” of Garden of the Gods with a series of aerial views, time-lapsed sequences and footage of seldom explored, remote locations.
